Monday Night Music Club at the MAC celebrates enduring concert films from the likes of David Bowie, Prince, Led Zeppelin and more. Brookdale Public Radio 90.5 The Night air personalities serve as your hosts, starting the evening off with a brief discussion about that evening’s film.
ABOUT THE LAST WALTZ
Directed by Martin Scorsese, The Last Waltz chronicles what was billed as the farewell concert by The Band. Recorded on Thanksgiving Day in 1976 at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom, special guests included Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Paul Butterfield, Van Morrison, Ronnie Wood, Neil Young, and more.
The Last Waltz has been hailed as one of the greatest concert documentaries of all time and was enshrined in the Library of Congress in 2019.
